Haunt
A small ghost that haunts your screen until it can see your task is done. Its voice and its eyes are a local Gemma model, so your screen never leaves your laptop.
How it works
- Add a task. Every few minutes the ghost fades in over whatever you are doing, with a line from Gemma. The longer you ignore it, the angrier it gets.
- Click I did it. The ghost hides, takes one screenshot, and asks Gemma whether it shows the work.
- If it does not, the ghost tells you what it does see, and stays.
I see a YouTube video of cats. That is not "Finish the report".
Tasks tied to a file or a git commit finish on their own the moment you save or commit, with no AI involved.
Why a local model
A ghost that watches your desktop sees your mail and your messages. That is only acceptable if the screenshot goes to your own machine and nowhere else.
